Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at piddlinpotteryllc@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

No! You are welcome to drop in any time during our normal business hours.

Keep in mind that we offer seating on a first come first serve basis. So if you are going to have a large group or want a specific table please plan to come right when we open or reserve our party room.

As soon as pieces are out of the kiln and packed for you to pick up, we will send you a text. If you haven't received a message telling you your pieces are ready for pickup, then they aren't packaged yet.

We really don't have a definite answer for this one, mainly because everyone paints at their own pace. For this reason, we usually don't allow new projects to start within an hour of our closing time.

On average - a group with small children usually takes 30-45 minutes, a group with older kids usually takes around an hour to an hour and a half, and a group of teens or adults can take anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours all depending on the pieces each person chooses.

No. Because of the firing process, it takes between 7 and 14 days to get your finished pieces.

We don't currently offer any clay classes outside of our summer kids classes. We do hope to bring back wheel and handbuilding classes soon though!

All ages! We have something for everyone!

There are a couple of options for unfinished pieces. One is to leave it with us in the studio and come back to finish another day. The other is to take it with you and finish at home. Just let us know if you don't finish and we will help you decide what to do!

You are always welcome to send someone to pickup for you, as long as you know they are picking up your pieces.

We understand that things happen, people forget, etc. We send a reminder message after 30 days, and a last chance reminder after that, before we consider your pieces abandoned. We pull these pieces from the shelf and either discard them or, if we think they can find love in a different home, put them aside to be a part of our charity event towards the end of the year.

We don't have studio fees for walk in painting. All of our pieces are priced to include painting, glazing, and firing of the piece. Pricing varies based on the piece that you choose, but most people choose something in the $20-$30 range.
